Blue Illusion is once again partnering with Bali Life for a special fundraising event.
We are thrilled to announce a nationwide styling event on July 10th from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, taking place in our boutiques and online. On this day, 7% of all proceeds will be donated to the Bali Life Foundation. Your purchase will directly impact the lives of underprivileged children and families in Bali. Join us in supporting this remarkable organization as they work towards a future free of poverty.
The story of how Bali Life was created is truly remarkable, dating back to 2006 when Brad & Siska Little, an Australian-Indonesian couple encountered a 9-year-old boy living on the streets of Kuta, begging for survival. Their desire to help, despite lacking the means, inspired them to start the Bali Life orphanage. When, in 2010, Brad and Siska welcomed a third child to the Bali Life children’s, home they realised the child was the same boy who had inspired them years earlier.
Years on Siska’s brother Piter and his wife Lyna, who had seen the vehicle for true goodness that Bali Life was, were inspired to step up as the next generation of leadership for Bali Life.
Since then, with dedicated leadership from Piter and Lyna, support from Blue Illusion and the generosity of donors, the organisation has expanded to multiple impactful projects. With a vision to educate 10,000 children in 10 years, the Bali Life team seems just about unstoppable.
What does Bali Life Do?
Children’s Home
- Currently home to 48 children
- 46 graduates now live independently and contribute to their communities
Street Centre & Women’s Workshop
- Educate 78 children and empower 15 women every weekday
- Conduct regular outreach in Kuta, offering food, clothing, and hygiene support
Suwung Community Centre
- 50 children receive informal education
- 20 women are trained and supported
- We serve over 200 families
Disaster Relief & Emergency Response
- Supplied food to 7,000+ families during the pandemic
- Reached over 10,000 individuals through our disaster response work in Bali, Lombok, Sulawesi, and Sumbawa
