We have paused to cast our eyes back over our story so far, we’ve assessed what aspects of our story serve our customer, and we are now ready to step confidently into the next chapter—with you, our Blue Illusion woman, centre stage.
For the woman rewriting her style story
To mark this milestone in our brand’s evolution, we bring you a show-stopping collection that deeply embraces our feminine French heritage while modernising for today’s Blue Illusion woman. In honour of one of our fashion heroes, Christian Dior, and his iconic debut Parisian collection, we’re calling it ‘The New Look’.
Blue Illusion Co-Founder, Creative Director and CEO, Donna Guest says, “Fashion is about change and this moment is about new beginnings.”
“For us,” says Indiana Guest, Head of Brand and Marketing, “this is a statement of a new era in design, so the nod to Dior felt right.”
The evolution began quietly in 2025, after Blue Illusion’s recent milestone 25th year in retail. Behind the scenes, creative minds convened to reconnect with the beating heart of the brand and focus on the next chapter.
“Now we are ready to step out from behind the curtain and let our customers know that we are evolving with them,” says Indiana. “Many of us get to a point in life where what used to work for us doesn’t anymore. The New Look explores that idea and caters to all aspects of our customers’ lives.”
Donna agrees, “This collection is for the woman who feels ageless and wants to experience fashion that complements her style.”
“My hope,” says Indiana, “is that it inspires the woman who may feel stuck, not only in her wardrobe but perhaps in life itself, to pick up her pen and rewrite the next chapter; one where she feels empowered, seen and cherished.”
Launching The New Look
With a focus on sumptuous fabrics, flattering silhouettes and eternal French flair, the latest collection has been lovingly crafted with the Blue Illusion woman in mind.
Says Head of Buying and Design, Vanessa Noy, “The New Look celebrates assured femininity; the kind that comes with experience. It’s not about dressing younger; it’s about dressing fully. Fully confident and fully yourself.”
“Women require adaptability; we move between work, travel, family and friends,” says Vanessa. “These elevated pieces must go where she goes.”
Key to the collection is a sense of movement. Sleeves billow, skirts fall fluidly, knits drape rather than cling. The design team worked hard to ensure that all garments fit beautifully, and that refined elegance was always paired with ease.
“Our customer wants to feel great about herself,” says Indiana. “She wants to feel stylish and, importantly, she wants to feel seen. This collection is a direct response to those observations.”
