Blue Illusion is once again partnering with World Vision for a special fundraising event.
We’re thrilled to announce a nationwide styling event on Thursday, 7th May 2026, taking place in both our Blue Illusion boutiques and online.
On this day, 7% of all sales will be donated to World Vision to support the Sirata Wash Project, a global project aimed at improving access to water, sanitation and hygiene for women and their families.

Sirata Wash Project
In Sirata Village, only 15.7% of residents have access to basic water services, forcing women and girls to walk up to 10 km daily, an 8 hour journey that exposes them to health risks, violence, and lost educational and economic opportunities. With 83.8% of the community lacking safe sanitation and climate change further drying up water sources, conditions fall far below global standards for safe water access.
The burden of water collection limits women’s ability to pursue education, skills training and income generating activities, reinforcing cycles of poverty and dependence amid weak support systems and limited access to resources.
This project aims to address these interconnected challenges by improving access to water, sanitation and hygiene, enhancing women’s economic empowerment and tackling climate-related and social barriers through partnerships with communities, government, and existing World Vision initiatives.
